The Counting Rooks are experimenting with a new economic policy. For decades they have used an aerosol pheromone substance codenamed "SWEETENER" to offset periods of natural economic slowdown. They are now distributing SWEETENER to local nests, so that the parliament can speed up its own economic activity when needed, without the pointless bureaucracy of authoritative oversight slowing down the process.
